Joan Hunter is a compassionate minister, dynamic teacher, accomplished author, and anointed healing evangelist who has devoted her life to carry a message of hope, deliverance, and healing to the nations. As President and Founder of Joan Hunter Ministries, Hearts 4 Him and 4 Corners Foundation headquarters that are being built in Magnolia, Texas, Joan’s vision is to equip believers to take the healing power of God beyond the 4 walls of the church to the 4 corners of the earth.
Joan ministers the Gospel with manifestations of supernatural signs and wonders in healing schools, miracle services, conferences, local churches, and revival centers around the world. She heads up the Worldwide Day of Healing that she and her parents started in 2005. Being sensitive to the move of the Spirit she speaks prophetically in the services and individual lives of those in attendance. Joan’s genuine approach and candid delivery enables her to connect intimately with people from all educational, social, and cultural backgrounds. Some have described her as being like a Carol Burnett with the anointing of Jesus.
Joan Hunter brings a powerful ministry to a world characterized by brokenness and pain. Joan committed her life to Christ at the tender age of 12, and began faithfully serving in His Kingdom. She has served in ministry alongside her parents, Charles and Frances Hunter, as they traveled around the globe ministering in Healing Schools, Miracle Services, and Healing Explosions. Prior to branching out into her own International Healing Ministry, Joan co-pastored a church for 18 years.
Joan has authored three books, Healing the Whole Man Handbook and Healing the Heart.Healing the Whole Man Handbook is an exhaustive guide for physical healing, providing key insights into the root causes of hundreds of diseases with step-by-step instructions on how to pray specifically for each. Healing the Heart is Joan’s personal testimony from brokenness to wholeness, providing timeless insight for overcoming impossible situations. She has completed her third book Power to Heal to be released late spring 2009.
Joan has ministered in Miracle Services and conducted Healing Schools in numerous countries, including, the United States, Hong Kong, New Zealand, the Republic of the Philippines, Brazil, Columbia, Guatemala, Australia, Canada, Northern Ireland, The Republic of Ireland, Israel, England, Mexico, Peru, Singapore, Japan and the Ukraine. She has also had numerous television and radio appearances including Sid Roth’s “It’s Supernatural”, “It’s a New Day”, “The Miracle Channel”, Steve Shultz’s “Prophetic TV” and many others. Joan’s television appearances have been broadcast around the world on World Harvest Network, Inspiration Network, Daystar, Faith TV, Cornerstone TV, The Church Channel, and Total Christian Television, Christian Television Network, Watchmen Broadcasting, Today with Marilyn (Hickey) and Sarah and God TV.
Joan and her husband, Kelley Murrell reside in Pinehurst, Texas (NW Houston). They have four daughters, four sons and two grandchildren.
